Dr. John Handley
Dr. Handley completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University, majoring in Chemistry and Sociology. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Handley completed his Internal Medicine training at LA County/USC Medical Center (internship) and Wilford Hall Medical Center (residency) in San Antonio, Texas, followed by five years of internal medicine practice with the U.S. Air Force and CIGNA health plan. He completed his Pulmonary Fellowship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona (now University of Arizona). He joined the practice in July, 1989. Dr. Handley is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary diseases (1990-2022), and Critical Care Medicine (1990 -2022). He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), Member of the American Thoracic Society, and Member of the Ventura County Medical Society. Dr. Handley is married with two adult children and grandchildren! He enjoys reading, tennis, pickleball, skiing, and physical fitness activities.
