Meet Our Experts in Pulmonary and Critical Care

Madison T. Sweet, M.D.

Dr. Madison Sweet was born in Russellville, Arkansas.  He received his bachelor of science in biology from the University of South Carolina Aiken, graduating summa cum laude.  He then attended the Medical College of Georgia where he earned his medical doctorate.  Following graduation from medical school, he did internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  After residency he stayed on another year as a chief resident at Regional One Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  He then completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. At Baylor, he also served as a chief fellow.  After completing fellowship he moved to Ventura to join Ventura Pulmonary and Critical Care Medical Group.  He is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians in the American Thoracic Society
